Description
The Service Initiative Expert (m/f/d) J920 is responsible for driving service excellence and continuous improvement for the Jenbacher J920 engine platform. This role analyzes field performance data, identifies service challenges, and develops targeted initiatives to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction. The expert collaborates closely with engineering, field service teams, and customers to implement best practices and technical solutions. Additionally, the position supports training and knowledge transfer to ensure global service teams are equipped with the latest information.

Your Responsibilities:
- Analyzing operational data and field feedback to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities for the J920 engine platform.
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing service initiatives and technical solutions to enhance engine reliability and performance.
- Supporting field service teams by creating lessons-learned sessions and facilitating best practice sharing.
- Collaborating with engineering, product management, and customers to ensure effective resolution of technical challenges and continuous improvement.
- Preparing and delivering training materials and sessions to global service teams.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented initiatives, KPIs, and adjusting strategies as needed.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or HTL qualification with relevant field experience
- Additional certifications in project management or reliability engineering are an advantage
- Strong technical understanding of gas engines and power generation systems is preferred
- Experience in service engineering or technical support for large gas engines, preferably Jenbacher or similar platforms
- Proven track record in leading or coordinating cross-functional projects focused on reliability improvement or service optimization
- Hands-on experience with field troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of technical solutions
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineering, customers, and global service teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage
